Senescent Cell Targets
Senescent cells can be targeted through specific protein biomarkers located on the extracellular surface of the cells. By targeting these protein biomarkers, we are able to elicit a response from the immune system. We achieve our results by removing these cells.
CAR-NK Cells
We engineer natural killer cells to express chimeric antigen receptors targeting these protein biomarkers. By using known antibody sequences, we engineer our receptor to effectively target and remove senescent cells from the body. These cells are transfused into the patient for initiating the therapy.

I'm interested in solving biological problems using our immune system and machine learning. To contribute to the field, I have built projects to model proteomic properties, predict T cell interactions, and created a new therapeutic for pancreatic cancer. I've also worked in a lab doing experiments to classify protein interactions.

As someone passionate about cell biology and specifically cellular senescence and longevity, I have built models for cell checkpoints and written papers about how this ties into senescence and stem cells. Additionally, I've worked in a lab to study cancerous cells and their relation to viruses and proteins.
